Other devices
Network
- Restart the router; on school or office networks the site may be blocked.
Still not working?
If it happens for one site on every network, the server is resetting connections. If many sites fail on one network, that network filters traffic.

LightAtom's connections view shows whether your browser connects to a proxy address instead of the site's servers, and which process runs that proxy.
Frequently asked questions
What is PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR?
Firefox's error for a connection that was reset during setup. It's the equivalent of Chrome's ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.
Can a firewall cause PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR?
Yes. Firewalls and network filters often reset connections to blocked sites.
Why does the site work in Chrome but not Firefox?
Firefox has its own proxy settings and certificate store, and some security software only intercepts one browser. Compare the two browsers' network settings.
